On Wednesday night, The Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) hosted a viewing of the museum’s extraordinary collection of Chinese art. Stephen Little, curator and department head of Chinese and Korean Art at LACMA, presented several culturally significant artworks from the museum’s collection for a handful of VIP guests, including art patrons and supporters, Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt and their son Pax.
The AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF) today announced a global boycott of the Hershey Company and its products. AHF has spearheaded a series of protests across the country and the globe during the second largest holiday for candy sales worldwide to encourage the public to join a global boycott of the Hershey Company after the candy company’s Milton Hershey School rejected a 13-year-old boy due to his HIV-positive status.

VH1 today announced VH1 Rocks Docs will recognize the 20th anniversary of the L.A. Riots with “UPRISING: Hip Hop and the L.A. Riots.”
It’s been 20 years since the L.A. Riots, the four days of unrest, looting and rage that paralyzed Los Angeles and sent racial shockwaves throughout the country. After decades of racial tension in South Central Los Angeles, VH1’s Emmy Award-winning VH1 Rock Docs explores the connection between the violence manifested on the streets during the 1992 riots and the rage expressed in Hip Hop.
